What this site collects
When you chat with the AI
The conversation is sent to the AI provider answering on my behalf (Anthropic or Google, depending on the current setup) and is kept on the server for up to 2 hours, only so the AI remembers what was said. After that it disappears on its own.
I receive a copy of the conversation by email. That's how I learn what people ask and where the AI gets it wrong. I don't ask for your name or email: identifying yourself is your choice.
When someone abuses the chat
The chat limits how many messages you can send in a window. Whoever goes over is blocked, and only then do I store the IP address with a count of how many times it happened. Nothing else: no browser, no timestamp, no link to any conversation. It exists so I can decide whether to tighten the limit or block the address. It deletes itself after 7 days.
If you simply used the site normally, your IP is not stored anywhere.
Audience measurement
The site uses Google Analytics, which stores cookies in your browser to count visits and understand which pages matter. If you would rather not take part, you can block cookies in your browser settings — the site keeps working the same.
Why I am allowed to do this
The legal basis is legitimate interest (Brazil’s LGPD, art. 7, IX): keeping the site up, understanding how it is used, and preventing abuse. I keep the minimum that solves each of those, for the shortest time that solves it.
Who else sees it
Vercel (hosting), Upstash (the temporary conversation store), Anthropic and Google (the AI models), Resend (email delivery) and Google Analytics. None of them receives anything beyond what is described above, and I do not sell or share this data with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything that exists about you, or ask me to stop using it. Just email tharso@gmail.com. Since almost everything here deletes itself within hours or days, most of the time there will be nothing left to delete — but I will confirm that for you.
